1 Day In Grand Canyon

Every Sunday we always go on road trips. It’s our rest day from work. And the road trip is a wonderful way of spending time together as a family. Going different places, explore and cherish the time being together. Creating memories forever. Since we’re living in Arizona, so we explore first the great places here in Arizona.

The second place we have visited was The Grand Canyon of Arizona. Who doesn’t know about Grand Canyon? Well, it’s a must place to visit.

From Anthem Arizona where we live it took about 3 to 4 hours to drive to Grand Canyon. We drove through route I-17 North to route 40 (Williams, Arizona) then route 64.

After traveling for 2 hours we stopped at Williams, Arizona and got a chance to experience and see the wild animals at Bearizona Wildlife Park.

It’s a drive-thru experience of seeing wild animals like wolves, bear, bison, mountain goats and other wild animals.

After visiting the Bearizona Wildlife Park, we had our breakfast at Pine Country Restaurant. Then continue our road trip to Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon is one of the most remarkable natural wonders of the world located here in Arizona. A whole one day of visiting this place wouldn’t be enough to explore this one of the seven wonders of nature.

When we arrived at Grand Canyon, Wow! Who can’t appreciate its beauty? What a breathtaking view of nature. Really, God made this place perfectly. What a beautiful landscape God made.

From the top, we went down to see the beautiful colors and layers of rocks. I was indeed amazed by the beautiful rock formations. Many tourists got to visit the place every day. Some went on hiking and explore different places, some just went to see it’s awe-inspiring view.

We stop and posed for a photo at Flagstaff. We drove back home routing 180 (Flagstaff) instead of going back to Williams. I just love the mountain view with snow in the background. A well spent rest day, indeed!

That’s all for our road trip to Grand Canyon. I’ll be updating this page if we got a chance to go back and explore more of the place.

Thanks everyone!
