APACHE JUNCTION: WONDER OF ARIZONA
September 13, 2020
Family adventures are exciting things to know, and our family tends to provide you the information and ambiance of being in a place that captures your eyes. This is the Amaya Family Adventure, and we love roaming down different roads, exploring cities, notable places, and even those that are not well-known or hidden from the nearby places. Arizona is a fascinating place to visit whenever you have free time with your family, who’s really into exciting ventures.
Arizona has deserts, cactus, and hot weather, however, it is also less popular for its north-central portion covered with tall and solitary pine trees. Arizona is composed of the abundance of high mountains and sharp plateaus. Lakes and mountain views can also be attractions to the vacationist while having a road trip through Arizona in the USA.
One of the most exciting places that I’m interested in but not familiar to me is Apache Junction. Certainly, Grand Canyon, Sedona, or Phoenix are the places that everyone is talking about if you mentioned Arizona. I am indeed grateful to share these experiences with you and have a chance to get to see and explore these mind-blowing and jaw-dropping attractions in my life.
If you are into majestic mountains, horseback riding, hiking, golfing, and water sports, well, do not think twice because Apache Junction is the best place for those individuals who really into adventurous tracks. Apache Junction is located about forty miles east of the Phoenix, and you’ll drive more than an hour if you are from Anthem Arizona. The beautiful scenery as you drive along the road to Apache Junction will make you awe. The Superstition Mountain will make you admire the fantastic view.
There are so many lakes in the world that will fascinate your eyes. However, here in Arizona, the lake everyone is visiting is the Canyon Lake located in Apache Junction. On your way to the lake, you will be going to see how golden rocks shine as you passed them. Arizona is not only about the desert and dry climate, but it also has a hidden scenic view.
Water sport is one of the famous sports nowadays with different variations of activities. We had a blast riding our Kawasaki jet ski, and we enjoyed the splash of the water. I am glad that my family, especially my daughter, had fun riding the jet ski and never felt any fear.
We’ve been into different lakes and water destinations, but Canyon Lake is a great place to visit with your family and friends. You will surely admire the beautiful view and the colors that the Canyon is showing off.
If you are looking for picnic grounds, boating activities, jet skiing, camping sites, and with the scenery, you can visit Marina and Campground. I loved it there because they have everything you want to experience to enjoy your stay at Canyon Lake. They provide boats that you can rent if ever you do not have your jet ski to explore the lake. You can also ride on a Dolly Steamboat and take a cruise across the river. Camping can be possible by camping at their campsite and RV site.
After going out doing different activities, we went to a restaurant and had a great menu to dig in. The staff have friendly vibes, and exactly it was my daughter’s birthday, so they provide us free ice cream. It was a memorable day for our family.
Before going back to the Anthem, we checked out Goldfield Ghost Town, and we learned that there are many things to do here. Exhibits of the history of the place can be seen, and zip lines, train ride, gold mine tour, and trail tours can also be good things to enjoy here in the Goldfield. We will go back to this place to try every activity they have; it’s just that we don’t have enough time to explore and enjoy the tour since we only have a trip for the day. I hope you enjoy and learned something from this content! Until next time, fellas! Another road trip to memorable places!
